Happy weekend all! Hope you're enjoying every last minute of it before the workweek starts again. Ours is being filled with lots of going away parties. Because that's the downside for us being expats, everyone around us is too. We all have a ticking clock in this temporary home and that means you can become very close to someone and the next month they can be gone. We knew that when we came over here but it's a different story when you're watching someone you've shared such an amazing and unique experience with board a plane and you're not sure if you will ever cross paths again. I wish the best of luck and safe travels to those leaving this week and hope even more that our paths will in fact cross again. Preferably in a tropical location.

So so true about being an ex-pat! It's wonderful meeting so many new friends, but equally difficult to say goodbye!

I am loving this little kid! he is definitely going places someday. What a cutie! Thanks for sharing. Also, I wish you the best in all of your many goodbyes... I hate saying goodbyes like that, when you never know if you will see them again :(
haha! pretty much, we have people leaving almost every month! most popular one is march though, there's a large turnover of teachers at that time
i completely agree! thankfully we don't have to say goodbye often but when we do it's horrible. thankfully there's always opportunity to travel to see them again!
thank goodness! i would be lost without those tools to keep in touch! i don't know what expats did without them!
